Our Commercial Services Department is designed to
better meet the needs of our commercial accounts; providing bulk Synthetic Salt
Mixes to public aquariums, research institutes, zoos, marine aquarium service
companies and large private
aquariums. Processing of our salt remains consistent with our popular
consumer brands Instant Sea & FINS Synthetic
Sea Salt; however, bulk packaging, favorable export conditions and discount
transportation costs insure that volume users receive quality product at the
lowest possible pricing. Our Commercial Services Department will work closely
with key accounts to customize mixes according to client needs, insure
uninterrupted supply and keep adequate amounts of inventory stocked to cover

Our salts are manufactured from quality chemicals using a sophisticated process to produce mixed crystals. When these crystals are dissolved in fresh water, there is no precipitation as is common with less sophisticated methods. Our salts dissolve rapidly, cleanly and completely in any tap water and naturally buffer to the desired pH range of 8.1 to 8.3.
Bulk mixed salts are available in two formats: » Bulk Sacks (66 lbs each), 36 sacks/pallet, NW 2,376 lbs/pallet (shown above). » Jumbo Bags (2,200 lbs each). 1 Jumbo Bag per pallet (shown left). Bulk Sacks are packed with 4 specially developed two component vapor-proof packages (16.5 lbs each) that ensure our salt remains un-caked even after very long storage periods. Jumbo bags are designed to be picked up from the top and drained via a discharge spout on the bottom. Our factory adheres to strict Quality Control procedures - we test and track our raw materials thru every phase of processing, from their initial arrival to our factory to the end user. Our factory management system ensures consistent quality and optimized performance - resulting in high quality and low costs. We have a large variety of raw chemicals available and the ability to reprocess/mix according to specification. We welcome clients that would like to produce customized mixes and guarantee confidentiality. We are able to send samples of our raw materials for clients desiring to develop their own formulas or we will customize our 'standard' mix to meet specified resulting targets.
